Green Living, Canada’s top magazine for sustainable living, is looking for an editorial intern starting immediately.
Requirements
The internship challenge is a terrific fit for anyone who wants to gain valuable reporting, writing and web production experience. Candidates must possess extremely strong research and writing skills, a thorough knowledge of sustainability issues and a passion for the environment. The opportunity has a strong emphasis on research and writing content for the website. Experience and training in online publishing and/or journalism is considered an asset.
Additional Information
The intern will work closely with the editors to update the website on a daily basis and be invited to join story meetings and brainstorms. Depending on the successful candidates' goals, skills and experience, opportunities exist for the candidate to contribute to the print magazine as well.
We will be reviewing applications on a rolling basis until September 4th, 2009.

- Three story ideas you would pitch as stories for the website (including a headline and brief outline).
- A writing sample
Please include your availability in your cover letter. Candidates must commit to 2-4 days a week or more. Internships are unfortunately unpaid at this time.
